| Before we can take out the lower sash we have to remove the inside stop. |
|
The sash cord is then removed from the slot in the side of the sash. |
|
The lower sash is then removed and taken to the truck for cleaning and repairs. |
|
|
Exterior paint is scored
along the sides and top of the sash.
|
|
We cover the window
opening with plastic in order to catch any paint chips which may contain
lead.
|
|
|
Spraying water on paint that will be removed precipitates any lead-containing dust. |
