we lightly sand three sides of each sash. Note: When sanding we wear appropriate protective gear including a test-fitted respirator and a disposable hazmat suit. |

A little water is sprayed on the sash . . .

Before carefully removing excess paint from the friction surfaces.

We take particular care to minimize damage to the friction surfaces.

After cleaning, the upper sash is re-installed . . .
